Job summary

An innovative manufacturing organisation in the UK is seeking an experienced Buyer for an initial 6-month contract. This role involves ensuring seamless supply, negotiating contracts, and collaborating across teams to support delivery targets. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, negotiation skills, and the ability to work onsite in Orpington. Competitive hourly pay of £20-25.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management (preferably within a manufacturing environment).
• Strong negotiation skills with commercial and financial awareness.
• Strong IT skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with new suppliers.
• Negotiate cost-effective contracts and manage risk in the supply chain.
