Overview

Kinetic Recruitment are currently looking for a Stores Supervisor, to work for a thriving organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced technology solutions, based within the Deeside area.

Main purpose and scope of the role: The Stores Supervisor is to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day Goods In, Stores, Packing and Dispatch operation. This hands-on role involves supervising the Company's Logistics Department and providing continual, proactive support to the Production, Planning, Quality, and Commercial departments.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring stock levels and re-ordering of packaging materials
  • Booking in goods for both stock and contract requirements
  • Maintaining Stores/Stock checks and records
  • Issuing Stock and Contract Items/Equipment
  • Carry out final QA checks prior to packing the product
  • Packing of product ready for shipment and delivery to customers and suppliers
  • Provision of electronic paperwork relating to weights and measurements
  • Use of PC and ERP system to record data and dispatch information
  • Book and ship units on ERP system (For Warranty & Traceability)
  • Advise Commercial, Customer order is ready for Dispatch via courier
  • Print Transport Labels and attach to packages/pallets
  • Supervise loading of shipments onto Transport Vehicle
  • Dispatch Slip signed by Transport Company (Proof of collection)
  • Scan signed Packing Slip onto Customer Order (ERP)
  • Continued liaison with Quality, Production, Commercial and Control departments
  • Maintaining Stores and Dispatch areas in good safe operating order
  • Kitting out for Production requirements
  • Continuous improvement of implementing and developing Logistic processes and procedures
  • Assist with 5S and environmental recycling processes
  • Other duties as and when required to maintain efficiency of the production facility
Hours of work

Monday to Thursday - 08:00am to 16:30pm
Friday - 08:00am to 12:00pm
Flexibility to work overtime when requested to meet specific business deadlines.

Rate of pay

£14.50 to £18.50, depending on experience.

Contract

This position is on a temporary basis.
