A staffing agency is seeking a Temporary Stores Assistant for a well-organised team in Perth. The role involves picking and packing, processing deliveries, and maintaining stock. Candidates must have previous warehousing experience, a full UK driving licence, and a valid Level 2 Disclosure Scotland certificate. Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing stock items from picking lists.
  • Processing items through the till system.
  • Restocking shelves and carrying out stock rotation.
  • Receiving, off-loading and checking incoming deliveries.
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting (up to 35kg).
  • Delivering canteen orders throughout the premises.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Skills

Stores Assistant – Temporary

Location: Perth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £15.16 per hour
Duration: Temporary assignment, 3–4 months initially
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and packing stock items from picking lists
  • Processing items through the till system
  • Restocking shelves and carrying out stock rotation
  • Receiving, off-loading and checking incoming deliveries
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting (up to 35kg)
  • Delivering canteen orders throughout the premises using barrows/trolleys
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Carrying out other duties as required
Essential Skills & Experience
