Are you an experienced Storeman looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading specialist in the design and manufacture of commercial livestock transporters, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving and distributing goods.
  • Coordinate with the in-house buyer for timely delivery of materials.
  • Implement cost-effective measures to optimise inventory and reduce waste.
  • Conduct stock audits and monitor usage trends.
  • Ensure quality control of received goods and manage returns.
  • Maintain a secure and clean store area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store operations.
  • Assist in staff training and manage PPE issuance.
  • utilise computerised systems for accurate inventory management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing stores environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft applications and inventory systems.
  • A background in engineering or related fields is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to efficiency and organisation.
