  • Respond promptly to material requests from engineers, ensuring accurate issue of stock.
  • Pick and prepare orders for engineer collections and operational requirements.
  • Receive deliveries of materials, check against delivery notes and log accurately in systems.
  • Take responsibility for waste streams, segregate and dispose of waste in line with company processes.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies.

Overview

Great opportunity to work as a StoreKeeper for our client's big logistics company! Staffline is recruiting StoreKeepers in Epsom.

Rate of pay: £15.70 per hour. This is a full‑time role working Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm.

Responsibilities
  • Operate safely within the store, following all health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Respond promptly to material requests from engineers, ensuring accurate issue of stock.
  • Pick and prepare orders for engineer collections and operational requirements.
  • Receive deliveries of materials, check against delivery notes and log accurately in systems.
  • Take responsibility for waste streams, segregate and dispose of waste in line with company processes.
  • Keep the store tidy, organised and compliant with safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify gaps, low stock or discrepancies and escalated to the line manager.
  • Support the Inventory Controller and Inventory Planner by providing accurate stock information.
  • Work collaboratively with other store colleagues and depot teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience in stores, warehousing or logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of safe manual handling and store safety practices.
  • Familiarity with stock control processes and basic inventory systems.
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically, with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and team‑working skills.
  • Good communication skills to engage with engineers and depot colleagues.
