Store Manager

Location: Marylebone, London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Store operates 7 days per week; role requires working 6 days on a rota basis

Our client is a premium outerwear and lifestyle brand best known for its iconic, lightweight, and waterproof jackets. Building on strong heritage, the brand has expanded into a full range of functional and stylish apparel for men, women, and children. The collection now includes windbreakers, parkas, hoodies, joggers, fleeces, and accessories such as hats, bags, and ski wear—combining modern technical fabrics with everyday versatility to deliver all‑season protection.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Store Manager to lead the Marylebone store. As the face of the brand, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving commercial performance, and ensuring the store operates to the highest standards at all times.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong leadership, resilience, and the ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the face of the brand, delivering outstanding customer service and representing brand values at all times.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve sales targets and KPI performance.
  • Manage day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the store.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and retail legislation.
  • Conduct regular Health & Safety checks, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Oversee stock management, including deliveries, stockroom organisation, replenishment, and inventory control.
  • Be physically capable of managing stock movement and visual merchandising requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of visual presentation in line with brand guidelines.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Adapt quickly to business needs, seasonal demands, and operational changes.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager within a premium or fashion retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high‑performing team.
  • High levels of resilience and adaptability in a dynamic retail setting.
  • Confident, personable, and professional—comfortable being the public face of the brand.
  • Strong operational knowledge, including compliance, Health & Safety, and stock control.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on stock handling.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
