Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to run our Winscombe village store. The store holds a variety of stock including fashion, bric a brac, and toys, this is a great opportunity to manage a village store with an established team of paid staff and volunteers.

Our stores all have a strong focus on maximising income to support the Hospice.

Responsibilities
  • Accept and price donated goods, and ensure gift aid registration
  • Manage paid staff and volunteer staff
  • Create strong merchandising displays
  • Run activities to help attract customers
  • Maintain great standards to give customers a positive shopping experience
  • Supervise volunteers under the age of 18 and provide Enhanced DBS certification
Qualifications
  • Experience in retail and interest in working in a charity retail environment
  • Enthusiasm, leadership and motivational skills
  • Customer orientated and enjoy working with a diverse range of products and people
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products desirable
