Stock Reconciliations Analyst

South Chester, £30,000 to £32,000

Are you a detail‑oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for stock management? Join our dynamic team as a Stock reconciliation analyst and play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory is always accurate and up-to-date!

Role Overview

As a Stock Reconciliations Analyst, you will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate closely with our business Directors. Your primary responsibility will be to manage stock, liaising with our goods in/purchasing departments and supporting the finance team as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Management: Ensure all stock is accounted for, updating Excel stock take spreadsheets monthly.
  • Process Management: Handle DPS as PO on Sage and manage stock transfers with accurate BOM.
  • Adjustments: Make necessary stock adjustments and resolve variances through detailed analysis.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly invoices, process them onto our Dairies & Manufacturing systems, and create end‑of‑month delivery checks.
  • Data Analysis: Transfer data from booking logs, input invoice prices, and numbers, and manage month‑end adjustments on Sage.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.

Location: Based in South Chester, Cheshire, with occasional travel to other sites.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
