Job description

CNC Recruitment are proud to work with a Southwest based Fabrication company, a highly respected design and manufacturing business, who are currently seeking Steel Fitters to join their team.

Job type – Full Time, Permanent

Location - Sites throughout South and South West.

Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 4pm

Pay – £32,000 - £37,000 (DOE, Overtime there is also available)

The Role:

The ideal candidate will have gained experience within the construction industry working for a similar or associated trade company. Our client will provide and update all operatives mandatory training and encourage progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and install structural and architectural steel components, including beams, columns, trusses, staircases, balustrades, and bespoke fabrications, as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Perform maintenance and refurbishment tasks on existing steel structures to enhance their integrity and appearance.

Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and rectify any discrepancies.

Work closely with the engineering and design teams to provide feedback and suggest improvements for fabrication processes.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
