Join Our Team as a Statement Writer!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the world of criminal law? Our client is seeking a dedicated Statement Writer to join their dynamic team in Central London. If you have a passion for justice and a keen eye for detail, this role is for you!

Start ASAP - pending security clearance, pay 18.40ph, hours Monday-Friday 36 hours per week. This position is a temporary role for 6 months with the possibility of an extension, hybrid working - required to work in the office two days a week. Location of the office Embankment area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draught clear, concise witness statements from transcripts and documents, ensuring compliance with our client procedures.
  • Produce summarised file notes and assist with interviews, bringing your insights to life.
  • Identifying relevant information to draft accurate witness statements/reports/other documents.
  • Review documents on digital platforms to identify key evidence and lines of enquiry.
  • Collaborate closely with dedicated investigators and case team professionals.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in interpreting complex information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of criminal law, particularly white-collar crime and prosecutions.
  • Experience with large document review and digital platforms.
  • Understanding of our client's structure and operations.
