Overview

Startup Marketing Program Manager (12-month Fixed Term Contract), AWS - EMEA Startup Marketing

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to deliver bar-raising experiences to startups across EMEA. This role will oversee complex marketing programs, including both AWS-owned and third-party events, with a focus on scaling our presence across key markets. The role will align closely with global marketing, business development, solution architecture and partner teams to lead seller engagement, internal lead interlocks, process improvement, and coordinated go-to-market strategies and sales plays.

You will be at the heart of trends like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), serverless and IoT. Our customers leverage state-of-the-art technologies on AWS to innovate and become the next disrupters. You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, execute against ambitious goals, and embrace the Amazon culture.

AWS Marketing leads cloud innovation, shaping AWS’s industry perception and driving customer growth across our service portfolio. Our team delivers personalized, connected experiences that foster AWS adoption across industries, adapting strategy to stay ahead in a digital-first world. Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience in marketing or marketing research
  • Experience in managing first-party or third-party events

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Experience using systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
