Responsibilities

• Schedule rehearsals and take detailed notes on blocking.
• Act as the primary liaison between the director, producers, and crew.
• Lead technical rehearsals and coordinate crew activities.
• Call all technical cues during live shows and manage backstage.
• Prepare rehearsal reports and maintain the master prompt script.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.

Job description

• Rehearsal Management:Schedules rehearsals, takes detailed notes on blocking, and communicates director’s requests to actors and creative teams.
• Production Communication:Acts as the primary liaison between the director, producers, designers, and technical crew.
• Technical Rehearsals:Leads technical rehearsals and coordinates with crew to ensure smooth set, light, and sound transitions.
• Performance Management:Calls all technical cues during live shows, manages backstage activities, and ensures the show runs safely and according to the director's vision.
• Administrative Duties:Prepares rehearsal reports, maintains the "prompt script" (master script with all cues), manages budgets, and oversees props/scenery.
• Safety & Compliance:Ensures health and safety protocols are followed by all cast and crew.
