Role: Staff Nurse - Paediatric Neurorehabiltation & Complex Care

Location: The Portland Hospital for Women & Children, London

Full time:37.5 hours per week

Were looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Careteam at the Portland Hospital. Currently rated Good by the CQC, the Portland Hospital is UKs only private hospital dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children.

Main duties of the job

You will be working to promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the speciality.

Job responsibilities

As a Paediatric Staff Nurse, working in the Neurorehabilitation and complex care inpatient ward , you will be responsible and accountable for the assessment of required care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care for children on our Neuro rehab and medical ward.

Experience
  • Understanding of Safeguarding issues and clinical governance.
  • Minimum 6 months' post-qualification experience working within neurorehabilitation and complex care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
