Permanent Contract – Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday–Sunday Rotation (Flexibility required to work long days, nights & weekends). Salary: Competitive plus shift allowance & benefits.
We’re looking for a Staff Nurse or an experienced Nursing Associate to join our Ortho/Spinal and Neuro Inpatients team at the Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good ” by the CQC.
As the Staff Nurse, working within our surgical unit, you will plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care whilst working within a multidisciplinary team, supervising and directing junior staff and also temporary staff.
As a Nursing Associate you will bridge the gap between healthcare support workers and registered nurses, delivering hands‑on, person‑centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team in a range of clinical duties such as monitoring, dressing wounds and communicating with patients about their condition.
You’ll demonstrate good clinical practice at all times, be accountable for own actions and contribute to the setting of clinical standards, policy and procedures, research‑based care and other practice development initiatives.
