Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse within the Same day Emergency clinic (SDEC), providing rapid assessment of acutely unwell patients.

We are looking for a high calibre individual with good interpersonal and communication skills. You will be motivated to develop professionally in a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have staff nurse experience in an acute hospital and will be looking for a challenging and fast moving post that emergency medicine provides.

Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid assessment and initial management of acutely unwell patients in SDEC.
  • Cover shift patterns which include weekday and some weekend working as an essential part of the role.
  • Work within a supportive team to continuously improve patient care and flow through the service.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with post-registration experience in an acute setting preferred.
  • Active UK NMC Registration is required.
  • Role may involve a 6-month Probationary Period, with renewal dependent on performance review.
