Overview

Position: Staff Nurse - ITU
Location: London Bridge Hospital, London
Working Hours: Full Time 37.5hrs per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive and Shift Enhancement

We are seeking an experienced ITU Staff Nurse to join our 28-bedded Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) at London Bridge Hospital. Our 24-hour Critical Care Unit provides dedicated, specialised care for critically ill patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Our dynamic and highly motivated multidisciplinary team comprises Consultant Intensivists, Critical Care Resident Medical Officers, and Critical Care Nurses, all working together to deliver exceptional patient care.

The Role

As a Staff Nurse in our Critical Care Unit, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care by assessing, planning, delivering, and continually evaluating patient needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure all medical, physical, and emotional needs are met.
  • Take responsibility for your own practice and maintain accountability, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
  • Cardiac or General ITU specific skills and experience.
