Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic, resourceful and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our friendly gynaecology ambulatory unit. You will need to have a keen interest in women’s health, with the vision and passion to optimise high quality patient care.

The successful applicant will need a flexible and adaptable approach as there will be a requirement to cover and support clinics in various settings within the health board. The department has various clinics including; colposcopy, hysteroscopy and other specialist clinics. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary professional team supporting an ever-evolving service, which will contribute to the changing landscape of gynaecology.

Responsibilities

The role includes covering clinics in different locations as required and adapting to the evolving needs of the service.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Registered Nurse with an interest in women’s health.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to cover and support clinics in various settings.
  • Experience in gynaecology is advantageous but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
  • Welsh language is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome to apply.
