Staff Nurse - General Medicine/Elderly Care Ward 2 (Band 5)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive acute medical and nursing team who are committed to providing and maintaining high standards of patient care, specialising in general medicine nursing.

You will be joining a dedicated and enthusiastic nursing team who will help and support you whether you are starting out in your career or have years of experience.

Everyday within this role is different and offers the opportunity to deal with a variety of patient needs.

Hours per week: 37.5 (part time hours also available)

Main duties of the job

The role of a Staff Nurse is to be part of the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality nursing care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the staff nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care, delivered using a holistic, patient-focused approach, while ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team.
