A regional healthcare trust is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse for the Endoscopy Department. This is a permanent part-time position (20 hours per week) based in Carlisle. You will be involved in providing high-quality care and supporting staff development in a new purpose-built unit. The role includes participation in diagnostic procedures and emergency cases with dedicated training and support provided for new nurses. Band 5 Staff nurse, Endoscopy Department 20 hours permanent
Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Endoscopy Nursing provides you with a varied role. Hours will be considered to give you a work life balance. We aim to provide a high standard of care to all our patients. We are very excited to have moved into our new purpose built Endoscopy unit in mid June 2025.
Plus, we are keen to nurture and develop our staff. Many of our staff progress onto Nurse specialist roles or Trainee Nurse endoscopists. Endoscopy can provide this opportunity for you. We have a dedicated Clinical Educator to assist you in transition to Endoscopy and support your learning throughout.
Dedicated quarterly training and well being days are protected for all our nursing team. Weekends and bank holidays are on a rota basis.
We are a dynamic team and training and development is high on our agenda on the unit. As well as diagnostic procedures we specialise in GI Bleeding emergency cases daily, ERCP and Respiratory lists twice weekly.

The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
