As part of Detection and Measurement, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks. Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Senior Systems Test Engineer, you will be part of Radiodetection Bristol-based multidisciplinary engineering team, and responsible for the testing and design verification and validation of Radiodetection Locator and CAT products (IoT platform Products) in close cooperation with the New Product Development and Software team. The role requires responsibility for creating product validation / test plans, creating test reports and managing traceable records from concept through release to volume manufacture.
Effective communication with the project team is essential to ensuring that the project objectives are met and delivered on time.
The jobholder should have an active interest in current and evolving technology and a keenness for developing an understanding of the company’s products and technology.
