Location: Somerset (Hybrid Flexibility)
Experience: 3+ Years PQE
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000-£65,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its supportive and collaborative team across Bristol and Somerset. This is a senior role suited to someone who enjoys managing a varied caseload, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to business development and departmental growth.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support junior lawyers within the Residential Property Department
  • Lead marketing and business development initiatives to raise team profile
  • Manage a busy caseload including freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and first registrations
  • Maintain regular client contact, including face-to-face meetings
  • Deliver tailored advice aligned with each client's best interests
  • Ensure efficient case progression and client communication
  • Oversee day-to-day cash management with support from the finance team
  • Maintain compliant and up-to-date electronic and physical files
  • Prepare legal documentation using Microsoft Office
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE
  • Proven experience managing residential property matters from instruction to completion
  • Strong communication and client care skills
