Senior Advisor Consultant, Highland Capital Brokerage
Location(s): All Locations/Remote
Role Type: Full time
Salary: $50,000 - $120,000 1st year earnings in a draw plus uncapped commission-based payment structure with excellent earning potential.

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, licensure, experience, and education.

Summary:

The Sr. Advisor Consultant (Sr.AC) is responsible for working together with producers and financial advisors to facilitate the sales of life insurance, long-term care, disability income, and annuities products for their clients. The Sr. AC must demonstrate a strong sales orientation and effectively engage with a broad network of advisors, with primary focus on achieving predefined sales targets. Success in this role will drive significant target premiums and generate substantial revenue to Highland.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Life & Health Insurance License
Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales through engagement with financial advisors that will drive significant target premium resulting in substantial revenue to Highland
  • Creates, cultivates, maintains and enhance relationships with producers and financial advisor relationships to increase sales
  • Recruit and educating new producers on incorporating insurance product lines and annuities solutions into their practice, with the emphasis on advisor retention and re occurring producers
  • Guide producers from the initial sales concept through point of sale with in-depth product knowledge and extraordinary customer service.
  • Acquires and effectively communicates company endorsed sales concepts in alignment with industry, organizational and client compliance standards
  • Promote and facilitate sales of Life Insurance, LTC, DI and fixed, fixed index annuity sales by prospecting within Highlands diverse channels/accounts
  • Engage in continuous and regular training, practice enhancement programs and peer support study groups
  • Provides expert assistance to producers and financial advisors in case design and sales presentations
  • Meet minimum NHOR targets as determined by the line of business focus (Life or Annuity)
  • Understand and adhere to compliance and Suitability rules of the accounts working within, with knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and DOL compliance and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as New Business and Sales Support to provide case design, reporting and appropriate carrier products and pricing
Basic Requirements:
  • 5+ years brokerage New Business or Life Insurance company experience
  • 3+ years relevant Financial Services Industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Passion for customer interaction and a sales-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
