Are you passionate about working with young people?

Do you have a background in sports coaching or experience managing groups in an educational setting?

We want to hear from you!

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Sports Coaches and Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across West Midlands and nearby areas starting in September.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher across various subjects (not just PE)
• Supervise and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students in completing learning activities
• Provide a positive and engaging learning environment
• Opportunities to deliver sports sessions or assist with PE lessons depending on your skills and experience

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with young people (e.g., sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, teaching assistant)
• A strong presence in the classroom and confidence managing behaviour
• A flexible and proactive approach to different school environments
• A passion for education and inspiring young minds
• Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Right to work in the UK

Availability for work from September 2025
