A fast-growing game studio in the UK is seeking a Spine Animator to join their art team. This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience in Spine 2D animation who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include creating compelling animations for slot games and collaborating closely with fellow artists. The position starts as fully remote, transitioning to a hybrid model once the Manchester office opens. Applicants should have a strong foundation in animation principles and tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Location: UK Remote (Hybrid once Manchester office opens)
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract with a view to permanent employment
(Permanent role may commence sooner as the company continues to grow)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

We’re looking for a Spine Animator to join our close-knit art team and help bring our games to life. This is a pure animation role, ideal for someone who loves hands-on animation work and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
You’ll be working day-to-day with other artists, animating pre-made assets and adapting to established styles and workflows. The pace is quick, priorities can change, and every day brings something new — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and ownership.
The role is currently fully remote within the UK, with plans to move to a hybrid setup in Manchesteras the team continues to expand.
