Location: UK Remote (Hybrid once Manchester office opens)

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract with a view to permanent employment
(Permanent role may commence sooner as the company continues to grow)

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Founded in 2024, we’re a fast-growing game studio focused on creating visually rich, high-quality slot game experiences. After a strong first year, the studio has recently become profitableand is now investing in building out a small but highly skilled creative team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join early, make a real impact, and help shape how the animation function grows as the studio scales.

The Role

We’re looking for a Spine Animator to join our close-knit art team and help bring our games to life. This is a pure animation role, ideal for someone who loves hands-on animation work and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll be working day-to-day with other artists, animating pre-made assets and adapting to established styles and workflows. The pace is quick, priorities can change, and every day brings something new — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and ownership.

The role is currently fully remote within the UK, with plans to move to a hybrid setup in Manchesteras the team continues to expand.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Creating high-quality Spine 2D animations for slot game symbols, characters, and backgrounds
  • Animating pre-built artwork while staying true to the studio’s visual style
  • Using bones, mesh deformation, and advanced rigging techniques
  • Collaborating closely with a small team of artists and contributing ideas
  • Working in a fast-moving production environment with changing priorities
  • Ensuring animations are optimised for real-time game performance

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • 3 years’ experience working with Spine 2D
  • Strong grasp of 2D animation principles
  • Confident using bones and mesh deformation
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
  • Comfortable working very closely with other artists
  • Strong communication skills — open, honest, and not afraid to speak up
  • Understanding of PixiJS, Unity, or Cocos2D
  • British citizen (right to work in the UK)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on slot or casino games
  • Background in the gambling or iGaming industry
