Job description

We are currently recruiting for Speech and Language Therapists for a variety of schools in the area, these positions are permanent and interviews will be via Teams. These are not remote positions as you will be required to work in schools, face to face with students.

By providing a service to children and young people with speeck, language, and communication needs in mainstream and special school settings. The role supports inclusive education and contributes to statutory responsibilities under the SEND Code of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Speech and Language Therapist you will undertake comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication needs using formal and informal tools
  • You will develop and implement evidence based intervention plans for individuals and groups
  • You will monitor and evaluation therapy programmes and adapt as needed
  • Produce reports for EHCPs annual reviews and statutory assessments
  • By working closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents and multi-disciplinary teams and providing training and advice to school staff on communication strategies and inclusive classroom practices you will be collaborative and promote targeted interventions to support communication across the curriculum.
