A leading NHS Trust in Cornwall is seeking a full-time Specialty Doctor to join the Oral and Maxillofacial team. The successful candidate will manage clinical duties across hospitals, providing patient care and contributing to staff training and clinical governance. Candidates must have GDC registration and at least two years of clinical experience. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a commitment to sustainability and healthcare innovation.
The successful candidate will be part of the Oral and Maxillofacial team providing comprehensive out-patient and day case services in a busy hospital department. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Specialty Doctor to work within a committed team of Consultants in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and Orthodontics, as well as other medical, nursing and administrative staff. There will be a requirement to undertake clinical duties at West Cornwall Hospital and St Austell Hospital. All aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery are covered and you will be required to work both independently and in Consultant-led clinics, and be responsible for diagnosis, prevention and treatment plans.
The post is full-time covering general out-patients, paediatric surgery, anaesthetic theatre as well as main theatre sessions. You will have full GDC registration and a minimum of two years’ experience.
