About the Role

We are looking to appoint a new Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You will join a team working closely alongside our Consultants and other Specialty Doctors.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day running of the labour ward, obstetric wards and gynaecology wards.
  • Regular gynaecology theatre sessions with the team consultant.
  • Running of the ante-natal and gynaecological clinics to participate in the department's teaching, audit, and educational activities.
  • Daily ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient management of patients, operating lists and on call.

If the vacancy becomes permanent towards the end of the specified duration, the successful applicant may not be required to re-apply and can be slotted into the role on a permanent basis if appropriate.
