A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Specialty Doctor for the General Adult CMHT in Preston. This full-time fixed-term position involves providing medical care and consultancy while being supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist. Candidates must hold an MBBS or equivalent, full GMC registration, and relevant experience with Section 12 approval preferred. We are looking to recruit a Specialty Doctor to work with the Preston CMHT based at West Strand House, Preston. The post is full time (10PA) and fixed term for 12‑months.
If you are Section 12 approved, there may be the opportunity to join the 2nd On Call rota for which additional remuneration will be paid.
The main duty of this post is to provide medical input to the Preston CMHT which will include direct care as well as advice/consultancy for other members of the team. You will be supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist.
The role will include 8.5 PAs for Direct Clinical Care and will provide an excellent experience for those pursuing AC accreditation.
To be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 3 year's experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice. Ideally, you will be Section 12 Approved, or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.
