An educational recruitment agency is seeking a qualified Primary/SEN Teacher in Somerset. The role involves teaching students aged 4-11, particularly those with special educational needs. Tradewind are currently working with a brilliant primary school in Somerset who are looking for teachers who will be available to support them for long term teaching cover this academic year. This comes after appointing last year's supply teachers to permanent positions!
We are looking for teachers with experience of any year group or key stage who will ideally be available full time. You will need to be able to take on planning and marking responsibilities, although this won't always be required.
The biggest need for the school is within their specialist provision, so any experience teaching children with SEMH, autism, communication difficulties, physical difficulties, complex or profound needs, visual or hearing impairments as well as sensory processing disorder would be highly beneficial.
They offer a bespoke learning pathway to each child within the provision, designed to improve and engage pupils through a mix of learning curriculum, holistic approach and essential life skills. Each teacher has the support of multiple Teaching Assistants who are specialist in their field, amazing resources and small class sizes to enable you to provide a great learning environment.
