A local education authority is seeking an outstanding teacher to join Warwickshire’s Specialist Teaching Service, focusing on supporting schools with various learner needs. The ideal candidate must have a degree, a specialist SEND qualification (or working towards one), and experience with mainstream practice. This role involves working collaboratively to empower vulnerable pupils and improve school staff knowledge around Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher to join Warwickshire’s Specialist Teaching Service. This Service supports schools in their strategic response to meeting the needs of learners with cognition and learning, social emotional and mental health, as well as communication and interaction needs.
Working hours: Full Time, term time only
We are looking for experienced and skilled mainstream practitioners to work in a Service which has considerable experience of trading with schools over twenty years.
This post requires the ability to be skilled, organised and flexible in a high pressured environment. We welcome candidates with a strong customer care ethos in supporting schools to meet the needs of vulnerable pupils.
A qualified teacher, educated to degree level with a specialist SEND postgraduate qualification (or working towards one) and / or extensive experience in working with learners with SEND
