Overview

Are you an experienced clinical pharmacist ready to take on a specialist role in an innovative, patient-centred service?

Pennine MSK Partnership is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Band 7 Specialist Pharmacist to join our outpatient Rheumatology and Bone Health Service based in Oldham.

The Role

This exciting post offers the opportunity to lead and develop the pharmacy service within Rheumatology and Bone Health, working as part of a multidisciplinary team including consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists and advanced practitioners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist clinical pharmacy expertise in rheumatology and osteoporosis/bone health.
• Supporting safe prescribing and medicines optimisation across outpatient services.
• Contributing to service development, audit, and clinical governance initiatives.
• Providing education and training to colleagues, patients and carers.

About You

We are seeking a pharmacist who is:

• A qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Experienced in rheumatology, bone health, or related specialist areas.
• A holder of a postgraduate clinical pharmacy diploma (or equivalent).
• A non-medical prescriber qualification.
• A strong communicator with good organisational and team-working skills.
