Public Health Wales is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Specialist Grade in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (or Microbiology) to join the expanding West Wales Infection Service, delivered in partnership with Hywel Dda University Health Board.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward‑looking, integrated infection service as part of a national network encompassing diagnostic, clinical and public health functions. The successful candidate will support the provision of high‑quality, patient‑centred infection services across hospital and community settings, working closely with Consultant colleagues and the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting infection prevention, clinical microbiology advice, and the delivery of safe and effective infection management services across West Wales.
