Job description

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) East (Wrexham Area) Integrated Health Community are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic dietitian with an interest in Diabetes and Renal to join our team.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the dietetic department and wider BCUHB dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute, primary care and public health.

Main duties of the job

The Dietitian will support the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to Renal & Diabetes dietetics, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency teams.This post, offers a chance to develop across all pillars of practice.

The renal clinicalelement of the post involves dietetic assessment and treatment of patients on haemodialysis units, outpatient clinics and acute wards.

The diabetes clinical element of the post includes outpatient clinics for specialist secondary care services and the provision of group education to both Type 1 and complex Type 2 diabetes patients. It is essential the candidate will be able to offer flexible working in the evenings when required.

The successful candidate will support the department with staff supervision and student training on a regular basis.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
