Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian to join Evolve - Hull Community Eating Disorder Service. We are seeking a compassionate and driven individual to work alongside our experienced Senior Dietitian and a supportive, multidisciplinary team of specialists. This role involves the assessment and treatment of individuals with eating disorders, delivering high-quality, evidence-based dietetic care.

Main duties of the job

Evolve are a FREED service and provide a range of evidence-based treatment interventions to outpatients, with the provision of a small day service for intensive treatment and support. The post holder will have a good understanding of managing complex needs of individuals and have some knowledge of eating disorders. The post holder will implement evidence-based practice, education and behaviour change techniques. Experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential, as close supervision and training will be provided by our experienced Specialist Eating Disorder Dietitian and the wider multidisciplinary team who share the caseload. This role is a great opportunity for somebody looking to develop their knowledge and skills in mental health and eating disorders.

  • State registration dietetics registered with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Knowledge
  • Sound clinical knowledge of dietetics including nutrition support
