A community healthcare provider is looking for a Special School Nurse to join their team in Coventry. This part-time position focuses on delivering clinical care to children with complex health needs in special schools. Special School Nurse - Band 5, Term Time Only, 23.5 hours per week.
Recent investment in the special school nursing provision in our service has created several opportunities for Children’s Nurses or Learning Disability Nurses. We are looking for an experienced nurse who has a passion for working with children with complex health needs, supporting them to access their education.

The post offers excellent opportunities to care for children with a wide range of physical and learning disabilities who have complex physical health needs, attending five special schools in Coventry. We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with excellent organisational, personal, and clinical skills. A good working knowledge of SEND and safeguarding are also key.
The post will involve training and supporting carers, as well as delivering a wide range of clinical care to pupils during the school day. Team working and especially experience in multi-agency working is essential, as the post will also involve working with education and social care to provide holistic care to children and young people on the caseload.
