This permanent role involves supporting learners aged 5 to 19 with complex needs in a creative curriculum and outdoor activities. Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.

A warm and welcoming part‑residential specialist school local to you is looking for a special needs teaching assistant to join their award-winning team starting September 2025. The school is fully subscribed for this academic year and is looking for a fun and friendly TA to support their learners on their school site. The school supports learners between the ages of 5 and 19 years; pupils have complex needs including Autism, Asperger's and other associated needs. The school is invested in meeting the needs of every individual child and has been awarded Outstanding by OFSTED. The school offers an extensive and individually catered creative curriculum that includes outdoor activities (horse riding etc.) and is committed to helping learners move towards fully independent living. Hours: Monday–Friday 08:15–16:00, term time only. Permanent role. This role is open to receiving applications over the next week and will follow a three‑stage interview process.
