A healthcare provider in Aberdeen City is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist for full-time positions. This role offers a chance to gain extensive experience by working in various settings, including trauma and elective orthopaedics and community rehabilitation. Applicants must be registered with HCPC and possess a full UK Drivers Licence. Opportunities for continuous personal development and team collaboration are emphasized. The position may involve weekend and holiday work as needed.
We are delighted to advertise two full-time Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapy posts within our exciting and varied rotation. This post provides the opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic therapist to gain experience within a rotation in the Acute Sector, and Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership.
The post will involve working closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions in a number of settings, both inpatient and community, throughout Aberdeen City.
At present, current rotations include Trauma and Elective Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke, Medical, Surgical, Critical Care, Oncolocgy, Vascular, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Frailty assessment and rehabilitation, and Community Rehabilitation.
Opportunities for continuous personal development (CPD) are encouraged with regular supervision, Preceptorship for newly qualified Occupational Therapists, in-service training programme and access to Band 5 Support Group
Applicants must be registered with HCPC, have a valid full UK Drivers Licence, and access to a car for work purposes.

There may be a requirement in the future for weekend working / Public holiday working to meet the service needs.
