Salary: £14.50/hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (including alternate weekends)
Shift Pattern: Early (06:30-14:30) and Late (10:00-18:00)

About the Role

Aramark UK is looking for a talented and organised Sous Chef Lead to join our team at Albermarle Barracks. You'll play a key role in leading kitchen operations (3 kitchens on location), producing meals per shift and supporting the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is absent.
  • Prepare meals according to recipe sheets and allergen guidelines.
  • Manage food production and minimise waste.
  • Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.
  • Allocate tasks and support kitchen staff.
  • Maintain hygiene standards and carry out deep cleans.
  • Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
What We're Looking For
  • Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Relevant culinary qualification and minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP.
  • Food Hygiene Certification Level 2 (minimum)
  • Trade test required as part of the interview process.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
