Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef with the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation and production meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent culinary skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

  • Assist in managing kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff and coordinating food preparation activities.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality during service times.
