A recruitment agency specializing in culinary positions is looking for a Sous Chef for a high-volume daytime restaurant in England. This role offers a great work-life balance with 40-hour work weeks, no late evenings, and alternate weekends off. Responsibilities include leading kitchen operations, managing costs and budgets, training staff, and ensuring high food hygiene standards. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role and a passion for cooking without long hours.
I am looking for a Sous Chef for an extremely high volume day time only restaurant - new year start.
All the menus are freshly prepared daily, including all baking, and it is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
A massive bonus is that you will work sensible hours (40 hours a week) Straight daytime shifts with no late evenings.
If you love being a chef, but don't want to work 60 hours a week and every evening and weekend then this could be the job for you!
