The Opportunity

As Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to the Head Chef — leading the kitchen team, inspiring excellence, and ensuring every dish is delivered with flair and precision. You’ll play a key role in shaping menus, mentoring junior chefs, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and lead service during busy periods
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, costing, and stock control
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control across all dishes
  • Maintain strict food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen protocols
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
