Title: Sourcing / Commodity Mgr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced sourcing and contracting expert focused on tech services across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and IT services. You will lead end‑to‑end sourcing, negotiate MSAs / SOWs / amendments, manage supplier performance, and partner with Engineering / IT / PS stakeholders to deliver cost, risk awareness, and speed‑to‑value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end sourcing for tech services categories (RFx / RFQ / RFP), including project planning, supplier outreach, bid analysis, and award recommendations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, amendments; align with legal playbooks and contract risk awareness / escalation practices.
  • Benchmark pricing and rate cards; run negotiations and reverse auctions to drive total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.
  • Partner with IT, Engineering, Tech Services, Finance, and Legal to align sourcing with roadmaps and program objectives.
  • Maintain contracting and SRM databases; ensure accurate metadata, milestone tracking, and reporting.
  • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs / KSOs; drive remediation plans and continuous improvement.
  • Support Guided Buying and intake orchestration; promote compliant payment modes and contracting paths.
  • Prepare executive summaries and approval packages in Oracle; route for signatures (Adobe Sign) and ensure audit‑readiness.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial, delivery, information security, privacy, and compliance risks; elevate material issues for decision‑making.
  • Contribute to category strategy, supplier consolidation, and rationalization initiatives; provide market intelligence and recommendations.
Expected Outcomes & KPIs
  • Savings and cost avoidance (%, $) versus baseline; TCO improvements.
  • Cycle‑time reduction from intake to signature; on‑time delivery of milestones.
  • Contracting accuracy and compliance (playbook adherence; clear risk awareness captured in approvals).
  • Stakeholder satisfaction (CSAT / NPS) and supplier performance (SLA / scorecards).
Education
  • 8+ years of procurement / sourcing experience with emphasis on tech services (software / SaaS / cloud / IT services).
  • Proven contract negotiation skills across MSAs / SOWs / SaaS; strong contract risk awareness and ability to summarize risks and trade‑offs.
  • Hands‑on with sourcing tools and enterprise systems (Oracle Cloud, Adobe Sign); strong Excel / PowerPoint and analytics.
  • Stakeholder management, communication, and project management discipline; ability to manage multiple deals in parallel.
  • Data‑driven mindset with attention to detail; comfortable preparing executive summaries and recommendations.
  • Nice to have: experience with Guided Buying, intake orchestration, and AI‑enabled procurement / automation platforms.
