Job description
Role Overview

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Solutions Project Manager to lead the implementation of Enterprise Diagnostics Informatics (EDI) solutions within the UK. The role involves managing end‑to‑end delivery of projects in an Agile/PRINCE2 environment, liaising with sales, account management and incident support teams, and ensuring projects are closed and handed over to maintenance teams.

Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs and design solutions using accepted project methodologies such as PRINCE2.
  • Assist in setting clear delivery expectations before customer order signature, including solution deployment, services, training, network support, application support and solution function.
  • Provide and deliver clear project documentation in line with PRINCE2 and SOLID project methodology.
  • Manage the customer acceptance process and support revenue recognition through tracking and feedback.
  • Close and hand over projects to Incident Support Services so maintenance operations can continue under the agreed SLA.
  • Ensure projects are managed through the customer’s Project Management tools and applications.
  • Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) input throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Successful high‑tech project management experience.
  • Strong team player who acts on behalf of the customer in EDI projects.
  • Superb project management skills, including the ability to multi‑task, using accepted methodologies such as PRINCE2.
  • Demonstrated acumen for understanding IT products and network environments.
  • Excellent oral and written English‑language skills and strong communication.
  • Experience with hospital IT projects – RIS, PACS, VNA, Digital Pathology and Imaging Software – is an advantage.
  • Experience with the workflow within a radiology department would be a benefit.
  • Clear driving licence and willingness to travel extensively (must). All roles will require a level of security clearance; BPSS or higher.
