Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect is expected to significantly impact and drive digital transformation & cross-industry solutions with deeper focus on solutions that span multiple technical areas. They do this by architecting and orchestrating solutions that map customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. This role will support technical sales for software solutions, therefore technical expertise and understanding of PBX and integrations to support software sales is necessary. Additionally, you will provide expertise in overall software solutions architecture, including expertise in GDPR. This role will support EMEA and NA and occasional travel is required.


Responsibilities


  • Drives quality outcomes demonstrating return on investment (ROI) as a technology leader

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the Customer/Partner change management process and adoption principles

  • Drives high performance, architecture governance, and collaboration between all parts of the Zebra cross collaborative stakeholders across the lifecycle of solutions

  • Participates in opportunity development focused on complex solutions in line with Zebra and solution strategy

  • Demonstrates valuable customer/partner interactions in driving deeper customer relationships via their earned credibility

  • Leads complex efforts to deliver profitable business results and maximize business value positively impacting customer value realization

  • Contributes to the shared account team planning activities across Zebra teams, where appropriate in coordination with Sales and Solutions Consulting

  • Responsible for Business to Technology Strategy

  • Drives and delivers strategy through leading Technology decisions and proving expertise across multi domain solutions & offerings

  • Quantifies the needs of the business to achieve value outcomes, captures/reuses IP and shares recommended practices

  • Maps technology to business expectations by providing traceable business outcomes while limiting technical debt


Qualifications


  • BS/BA degree relevant to Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering or/ Master’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or MBA) preferred

  • 10+ years of experience managing technical projects within the following areas: cross domain solutions, database technologies, hardware, software, data warehousing, and cloud domains

  • 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within the enterprise space, translating customer needs and requirements into solutions

  • 10 years of experience leading collaborative teams within ambiguous, fast-paced, and highly matrixed environments

  • Technical expertise in integration workflows between proprietary software platforms and PBX systems (e.g. Avaya, Broadcom, RingCentral, Metaswitch, Alcatel, NEC, etc.)

  • Understanding of GDPR and positioning of compliance for proprietary software solutions

  • Advanced experience with database technologies, data integration, analytics, and distributed data architectures

  • Advanced experience delivering business and technical presentations at the executive level both internally and externally

  • Advanced experience and understanding in working with new emerging technologies, methodologies, system architectures, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, point cloud data and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
