We’re seeking a Digital Tax Solution Architect to help transform tax delivery by designing digital solutions that simplify processes for our clients and teams.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of tax delivery, working with our Tax Technology and Automation team, collaborating with tax experts, project teams, and developers to build scalable solutions using tools like Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and cloud automation platforms.

You will combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of tax processes to bridge the gap between business needs and digital possibilities.

Role responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering scalable, robust automation solutions supporting digital tax transformation
• Collaborating with tax teams to develop solution architecture using Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, and automation technologies
• Driving adoption of automation and digital tools to improve process efficiency, quality, and insights

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering secure, scalable digital solutions using Azure and Power Platform
• Defining solution architecture aligned with business goals, data standards, and security best practices
• Providing technical leadership to development teams and ensuring high-quality implementation
• Collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and delivery plans
• Identifying opportunities for automation, improvement, and innovation across our digital platform
• Staying curious and contributing to embedding best practices and emerging technologies

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience with Azure SQL databases (Managed Instances, PaaS, IaaS)
• Strong understanding of Azure Security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Azure serverless technologies such as Batch, Functions, Logic Apps, and Event Grid
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and PowerShell
• Experience designing and delivering Solution Architectures across cloud, hybrid, and security landscapes
• Ability to solve complex problems in scalable, innovative ways
• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive mindset with curiosity for digital trends and emerging technologies
