Overview

£44,631 - £47,552 plus a Market Forces Supplement of £8,000. This post is a great opportunity to join an exciting and innovative legal team as a solicitor or barrister who wishes to develop their legal career and expertise. We are a busy, friendly, well supported legal team serving Worcestershire County in Worcester. We provide a high quality and well-regarded service to our users and now need to recruit two Adult Social Care and Education Solicitors or Barristers.

We are looking for Solicitors or Barristers with experience of adult social care law, which will be the main focus of the role; however, experience or a willingness to develop expertise in education law including SEN would be an advantage. We will consider people new to these areas of work, particularly with litigation experience as this can be transferrable. You will be responsible for advising on all aspects of adult social services law, including representing the Council in the Court of Protection and County Court. A flair for advocacy is therefore desirable.
