  • Advising on corporate and commercial matters, including liaison with external legal support.
  • Providing contracting and intellectual property advice, including NDAs and terms & conditions, collaboration agreements, funding agreements and property related agreements.
  • Supporting general commercial contracting and disputes relating to breach of contract.
  • Assisting the HR team with employment-related legal matters.
  • Delivering legal training to staff across theGroup.
  • Supporting advanced transactional agreements, corporate restructuring, and investment transactions.
  • Advising on subsidy control, construction, procurement, and GDPR compliance.
  • Maintaining contractual templates and ensuring compliance with GMP , Data Integrity, and ISO 9001 standards.
The person we are seeking

Must be educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in abusiness or legal subject, be aqualified solicitor in England and Wales with a current practicing certificate andhave;

  • A minimum of two years’ PQE
  • An up-to-date understanding of intellectual property, contract, and commercial law
  • A proven track record of providing quality legal advice with a commercial slant
  • Experience in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team
  • Experience of dealing with confidentiality and secrecy arrangements
  • Exposure to high-value or complex transactions, including with overseas companies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • A good working knowledge of office software packages
