Job description
Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing

We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join our leading International Serious Injury team, based in either our Birmingham or Manchester offices. The role is offered on a hybrid working basis, enabling flexibility while maintaining collaboration with colleagues across the team.

Led by Regional Head of International Serious Injury Philip Banks, our International Serious Injury Team deals exclusively with serious injury claims sustained abroad, or foreign residents who are injured whilst visiting the UK. The team handles employers’ liability, package holiday, aviation, cruise, RTA, clinical negligence and public liability matters. Many of our clients have suffered catastrophic injuries, and the role will involve some travel to meet clients and family members, as well as to attend Court hearings and conferences with experts and / or counsel.

You will have the opportunity to develop expertise in complex cross‑border litigation and international personal injury work, supported by an experienced and highly collaborative team. We offer clear progression opportunities, regular mentoring, and access to high‑quality training to help you continue building your career. A competitive benefits package is also available.

We pride ourselves on making a real difference and helping people to live a life as full as possible after a serious injury. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake complex and meaningful work with purposeful impact within a supportive, specialist environment.

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, putting clients at the heart of all matters.
  • Possess an appetite for business development, with the ability to build successful relationships with a wide range of professionals.
