Solderer – Electronics Assembly (Telford)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Solderer to join a growing electronics company in the Telford area. This is a fantastic opportunity on a temporary-to-permanent basis, working day shifts Monday to Friday. The pay rate is between £12.21 and £13.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out precision soldering tasks, including micro soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and small electronic components.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
  • Assemble and rework PCB boards using specialist tools and equipment.
  • Follow technical drawings and specifications.
  • Quality-check own work, maintain high accuracy, and ensure tasks are completed in line with health and safety guidelines.
What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience in soldering and electronics assembly, ideally with micro soldering for small devices such as mobile phones and tablets.
  • Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with precision.
  • Previous experience as an Electronics Technician, PCB Assembler, or similar role would be highly advantageous.
