The Lead Solar Technician will oversee on‑site installation, commissioning, and testing of residential Solar PV and battery storage systems. You’ll take a hands‑on role while guiding installation standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting junior team members during field operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and carry out the installation of residential Solar PV and battery storage systems

Complete AC and DC wiring, cable routing, containment, and terminations

Install inverters, batteries, isolators, and associated protection devices

Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of systems

Ensure installations meet MCS standards, BS 7671, and G98 / G99 / G100 requirements.
